Joe and Elke Oey started Oey Trading Co. in Toronto in 1986, and nearly four decades later the family owned business has grown into what it describes as the largest importer and distributor of Indonesian food products in Canada. The company operates out of a warehouse and retail counter at 3241 Kennedy Road, Unit #12, Scarborough, ON M1V 2J8, where customers can buy directly, and its products also reach a wider network of retailers across the country.
